Summer 2017 - North West Passage and High-Arctic, Nunavut, Canada. A box core is raised from the bottom of the sea with sediment with the help of coast guard sailors André April (left) and Antoine St-Pierre (standing). By studying the content of the last 1000 years of sediment, scientist Jean-Carlos Montero-Serrano, from Rimouski University, and a few students, will study changes that occurred in the past and hopes to understand the changes to come with global warming.
